There have been a number of rather special art exhibitions
in London over the last few years – the best,
however, has surely been David Hockney at the Royal Academy
in 2012. I spent nearly 20 minutes in
front of the first painting, an enormous landscape of the Grand Canyon, alone;
although most of the works were of places in the British
Isles , capturing the four seasons in eye-popping colour. Here’s a very quick and very humble tribute of my own.
