It isn’t yet clear whether people entirely understand the nature of
their relationship with their smart phone - the question at the heart of this
relationship is simply: who owns who?
Smart phones are powerful tools, tools are not neutral, moreover, smart phones
are also terribly attractive, and they want to be used and/or fed - a bit like
the man-eating plant in Howard Ashman’s A
Little Shop of Horrors.
